Week 16April 2017
This edition: Bathroom renovation, Out of Africa, floral dresses and some David Bowie
Goodbye’s sux…
So my beautiful best friend had to go back to London this week. I must say the goodbye was WAAAAAAY better than last time but still, quite a few tears were shed. God, I miss her already. But, we are planning a big group holiday to Spain next year to celebrate her 40th… which should keep us busy, and I think lots of planning meetings are needed via Skype on a Friday night. Any recommendations for Spain? We’re thinking Costa Brava – just north of Barcelona. Sounds amazing right?! Tapas, Sun, Cava, Cerveza and a bucket load of friends. Let’s go right now!
The weekthat was..
Watching NITV the other night and they featured this super talented Aboriginal artist. Turns out shes from the South Coast of NSW as well. Love her style!
An untouched Frank Lloyd Wright house is For Sale
This had me crying at my desk this week. Watch the video linked at the end of the article from ABC TV Twitter post. Much respect to you Rosie (and to Ahn as well) A beautiful tribute to your beautiful son.

Guilty pleasure… Real Housewives of NY started airing last week.

Pretty dresses all in a row… Spring / Autumn / Summer / Winter … a dress for every occasion. I recently bought the Tigerlily one and I love it! Beautiful cut, gorgeous length, dress it up or down. Put them on, pour a cocktail and start twirling. Here are some more of my fav’s for you to check out…

All images can be found and referenced on my Pinterest page { Summers Wildling } and more specifically on this board for { Bathrooms }. If you’ve got any tips for renovating a bathroom, please let me know before I slip down the rabbit hole of ideas…….
I know of a cure for everything: salt water...in one way or the other. Sweat, or tears, or the salt sea.

House Envy
Karens house in Out of Africa
If I could have any house.. it would be this one. This movie was such a big part of my life growing up and I think this house has been permanently etched into my brain as peace and tranquillity at its finest. That porch! Yes yes yes. Can I just order one exactly like this?

It is always so sad to say goodbye to peeps but great you got your holiday planning to do!
So hard to say goodbye. I feel like my right arm is missing some days….
i LOVE your photography!!! Rosie’s story has always moved me and I’m with you on the tears! I’ve only been to Barcelona and Madrid when I hit up Spain but would absolutely love to go back and see more of the coastline and lets face it, non tourist areas! You will have the best time!
Thanks Cassie! The holiday is hopefully going to be even better as the hubby and I were just talking about the possibility of leaving the kids at home and BOTH of us going!! 10 days kid free will be a game-changer!! 😉
