Its one of my absolute favourite wardrobe staples – a clean crisp white shirt. You can dress it up or down. Pair it with jeans, a skirt, casual shorts or wear it with your best tailored pants for work. I own way too many white shirts than I care to disclose on the internet right now – for fear that my husband is reading this and will go and examine my wardrobe. #justsayno

Hi Heather! I don’t have a favorite standard brand like I have for say jeans (hello jbrand!) – due to the changing fashion style I do tend to shop around each season and find what works. Last year I had quite a few that were tuxedo style but this year I’ve gone for more casual styling and ones that I can roll sleeves up on. For such a simple thing- there really are so many options! If I had to recommend a first one from this list – I would definitely pick the Tigerlily one. Casual, soft but a beautiful crisp white. Thanks for the comment! Johanna
I am a yuuuuuge fan of a clean white top. The only drawback is that I live in Asia, so they stay clean for about one hour, haha! Awesome collection. Love the idea of paring one with a loud print like that skirt.
Pairing with a bold skirt gives a really nice fresh look. I love the Tigerlily one too… I know you enjoy travelling so be sure to pack a simple cotton white shirt for your next travels and it seriously will go with everything else you pack. I even use them as a light throw over summer dresses for when you need an extra later but it’s too hot for a jacket. Just roll the sleeves up and it’s effortless and comfortably stylish.
This is so perfect. I definitely have the white shirt bug and can never seem to find “the one”. I’ve just been collecting all the “close but not quite” ones. I’m going to be exploring these options for sure. Thank you!

My wardrobe is like 95% black…but lately, I’ve been obsessed with white furnitures and bedding for my home…I have a feeling it will take over my wardrobe as well. Thanks for the recommendations, I always struggle to find the perfect fit, I’m curvy and petite. The shopbob one looks really good and it’s silk…I love silk!!
